Description

The Lazio Cup International Tournament, reserved for the Allievi category , occupies a place of absolute importance and prestige in the international panorama of reference due to the high technical and competitive level expressed by the athletes in the competition: in this regard, reference is made to the Inter – Fiorentina final played in May 2015 at the Purificato stadium in Fondi and filmed by Rai Sport which recorded over 90,000 video contacts. The roll of honor of the event, which was previously called “Ciociaria Cup”, includes Siena (2007), Partizan Belgrade (2008 and 2011), Sparta Prague (2009), Aspire Academy Qatar (2010), Inter (2013, 2014 and 2015), Fiorentina (2016), B Italia (2017 and 2018) and Roma (2019 and 2021). The event, born in Alatri, then extended to the province of Frosinone and subsequently to Lower Lazio, with appendices in Rome , which is why it took the name Lazio Cup.
